Just in time. I've never watched the entire thing straight through, so this is a nice addition to my Halloween flicks...

Keep in mind the English audio on that one is garbage. Even the old Lorimar VHS sounds better.

Passed on the previous one since it seemed like it's not a great slasher. But I'm still curious in checking it out.

Wan “Boy Who Cried Wolf” variation about an actress (Jacqueline Giroux) tasked with babysitting the young son (Chris Graver) of a well-to-do couple (played by “special guest stars” Carrie Snodgress and David “Call me Bill” Carradine) on Halloween night, only to find the boy’s incessant pranks making her lose her guard before the wife’s psycho ex-husband (Peter Jason) escapes from the local insane asylum and drops by looking for a little payback. Not to be confused with the excellent 2007 anthology feature Trick r Treat, Trick Or Treats is not clever enough to be honestly funny and not stylish or gory enough to deliver any real thrills. I did enjoy seeing the kid flipping through his collection of LPs and glimpsing the soundtrack album to The Howling, though.

They slap Gene and Ozzy right on the cover but I didn't see either of them in the trailer. Do both basically have a glorified cameo? (No spoilers please)

Spoiler free short version, the guy who played Skippy on Family Ties listens to the “devil music” of his dead rock idol and horror shenanigans ensue. It’s far better than Trick or Treats.

It's really bad but I won't lie that I preordered it since i missed the previous release.

I like the meta third wall break about 3/4th the way in the film, the best part of the film. And of course the kid (the director's son mind you) is almost as obnoxious as the kid from the Babadook

My guess it that it will be region free as well since Kino isn't listing on their site that it's restricted to US and Canada.

Most likely. But I'd rather know for sure as it would be an expensive coffee coaster to import.

On a side note, this site has really gone to crap since they added all the pop up advertising! It makes it difficult to use the site effectively at times. Especially on a mobile
