Default Wireless Problem

I have recently bought a Linksys wireless router and its all been working fine with my playstation 3. But recently my playstation 3 has stopped picking up the signal and can't detect the router. It's not a problem with the router as the wired connection with my computer still works and i can stil pick up the signal with other wireless items (PSP).

Anyone got any clues as to whats happened?

i have reset the default settigns many times and run through the network setup but i find myself very rarley recieving a signal.

Any help will be much appreciated!

It sounds like something is blocking your signal near your PS3. Remember these are internal WiFi cards. They don't have a ton of range (maybe 80ft or less).

Is there anybody using the computer a lot. When my family starts downloading, my online performance is slower. Sometimes I really can't do nothing at all.

I have this same problem with my PS3, I have a wireless router and run 2 desktops off it and we have 2 different laptops and go all over the house with no problem with the laptops. I can hardly ever get a signal with the PS3? I can get a great signal with the laptop literally right next to the PS3 but the PS3 gets no signal. I don't get it? I could use some suggestions also

thanks

you may have other wireless interference from phones, wireless surround sound, and even bluetooth items. my surround sound has wireless rear speaks w/ bluetooth and sometimes i have to turn it off for the ps3 to register off my linksys. my router is on the 2nd fl above my living room and i usually get a strong signal.

try turning off any extra wireless items in that room.
