Back in the day, I bought all the Warner Brothers/BBC Video releases of Doctor Who on Region 1 DVD. I had heard that there was a small clip from the 1st Doctor story, "The Chase", with the Beatles, that was edited out from the Region 1 release, due to licensing reasons (annoying, but understandable). I was able to briefly see this for a little while on YouTube.
Now that the full seasons of Classic Doctor Who are coming out on Blu-Ray, I bought the first few sets when they came out in the States. Then we bought a new player that was multi-regional, so now I have been buying sets from Amazon UK. My big question is: Have I been missing any of the special features (or, Bob forbid, any clips from the episodes) by getting the Region A versions of what has been released? Whether it be the Season sets or the individual episodes (i.e., Shada). I'll even open up the question to include the reboot series. |
