This documentary is on HBO in less than an hour, eastern time and looks pretty good.
Here's what it's about from HBO.com Quote:

Fairly interesting so far. They meet with an investor who says he's sank $80mil into a picture starring Mark Wahlberg and Denzel Washington, obviously he's talking about the stinker, "2 Guns." Which as of today, according to Box Office Mojo still hasn't made that back.
It's sad how when this investor brings them in to see two other investors, they only see Alec as either the man from "30 Rock" or the man who was in the submarine movie as they call it, "The Hunt For Red October." They pitch a quasi-remake of "Last Tango in Paris" and all the investors hear and want is a comedy/action movie with a spy character and want a new hot star like Jessica Chastain. Truly a fascinating inside look at pitching a movie and trying to sway investors at Cannes. |
