Word has it that Marvel is shopping a content package of four drama series and a miniseries that totals 60 episodes. Potential suitors include Netflix, Amazon and WGN America, with both digital platforms and traditional cable networks interested in working with the red-hot company. Few details are available at the moment as the offering is in very early stages and there is currently little talent attached. Whether it’s a new content provider looking to establish its platform with a host of Marvel programs or a successful network interested in including Marvel’s brand in their slate, this is likely to be a huge deal at the end of the day, especially considering the 60-episode commitment. Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has already received a full season orderat ABC, and we know that Hayley Atwell is interested in Marvel’s Agent Carter series.
