I just got an email from Best Buy stating I was eligible for a FREE In-Home Consultation for Home Theatre and PC Networking through the reward zone program. Does anyone have any thoughts on this, should I do it, since it's free. What exactly do they do? Thanks. Here is the text of the email:

basically they come to your house and recommend a whole ton of products from TV to sound system to new computer and networking that you can buy at Best Buy and pay them to install for you.

You're essentially inviting a salesman to come visit and nag you later.

Yeah, you probably know more than the guy who would come to your home and push whatever they happen to be selling today.

On line information is too easy for the consumer to capture these days without having to resort to privacy invasion of your home needlessly.

but don't go by me, I'm a cynic when it comes to salespeople.
