I've never had any problem finding any movie on release day or any other day for that matter. Best Buy, Circuit City, or FYE always have a copy on hand.

Unhappy

Our WM's are always stocked up on both formats...seems none of the WM stores here sell many as of yet. SD racks are usually picked over pretty well though on new release Tuesdays....HDM has a long way to go sadly.

I never "put all my eggs" on wal-mart. The wals around me dont even have a decent selection of high def media, only like 5 blu ray movies in the PS3 games case. If wally is your only physical choice, I'd advise buying online.

If I depended on Wally's to get my Blus I would have exactly 0. Lucky I have both a CC and BB that stock them well for the most part. The only recent movie I was not able to find on release day was Edward Sissorhands.

Alot depends on where you go to get your movies and at what time. If you really want a movie, make sure to go to BB and get there early. If you have to work early, try to hit during your lunch or right after work. The sooner you get there on some titles, the better, but usually BB has plenty of stock on hand.

There's usually plenty of stock of whatever new popular title there is. If not as a media sales associate to check "the back". Even when Transformers DVD were flying off the shelves there were still plenty in the back getting those shelves replenished. Best Buy and Circuit City are probably the most reliable. I didn't see Cars at FYE today.
