Does anyone know if this movie is region free? I got an email from amazon.uk saying they have it on sale. Please let me know, someone.

It's not my kind of movie so I haven't ordered it. Because it's a Sony movie it should be region free. They have stated that all their releases in Europe will be region free and this has show to be true so far. They did not region code the day-and-date release of Casino Royale for example.

The movie will not be released until Oct. 22 and SentIt are cheaper than Amazon:

I got this blu-ray and can confirm that it's region free. It plays perfectly on my US PS3. On the back of the case it actually says "All Regions".

I ordered it from BlahDVD which was the cheapest online store that shipped to the USA. But I've noticed that it's also been released in Australia, so you might want to compare the UK prices against the Aussie stores.

The picture quality is excellent. The wild sets and characters really look amazing.

Hopefully the rest of Dark Castle's movies (House On Haunted Hill and Ghost Ship) aren't far behind.
