The shipping doesn't appear to be free from what I can see. The wording is "free shipping" but that's a misnomer, it isn't free per se. Take Smaug 3D, right now it costs $50 (or $48 if you have/purchase a membership), this is higher than this title's list price of $45. Amazon.com currently sells it for $28.

No carriers offer their services for free, someone has to pay for shipping, and HDMovieSource isn't paying it for you. So the difference seems to be that it is now baked into the price instead of separate. Though if it's a good or bad thing I can't say, not knowing their previous shipping rates.

Because UK divisions of studios having a habit of screwing us over. Recently Warner Bros. and Universal have been prime candidates, but in the past Disney and less often Sony have been caught in the act.

Come on now, that can't be their fault but USPS or whoever?

Was thinking of giving them a chance but the prices seem very high now, Amazon is cheaper even with expedited shipping but who can compete with them pricewise.

My last order with them was for the Best Buy exclusive Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol BD and it took 2 weeks to arrive so haven't used them since but if they are offering free shipping on pre-orders then I am very tempted to order Green Lantern The Animated Series from them as it's $33.99 the only downside is they list it as being released in June when it's actually out in 2 days time.

I don't think their prices has changed much since the "free" shipping (yes in quotes). I browsed their site a while ago and I remember the prices on some titles, they are now on average $10 to $15 higher. I suppose that's what they charged for shipping before, so nothing gained nothing lost I guess.

Had a reply back from them and seems their supplier won't have the title until June so won't be using them, will probably go with Bluraysforeveryone instead.
