I saw Best Buy is getting a steelbook for this along with The Nightmare Before Christmas too, is Target going to get an exclusive for NBC?

Are we expecting this to be hard to get like all new releases are or should we assume there'll be plenty available in store since it's an old movie?

Forgive my ignorance; Digipaks are something I've been trying not to get into (and rapidly failing). Is the book a separate piece, or part of the package itself?

Seems so. I think the old ones were all digibooks with slots for the discs inside the book but I could be wrong, but all these new ones seem to be digipacks with disc trays (which is a huge step up but still meh for me) and the book is separate. Star Trek: The Last Jedi is the only recent release with user uploaded packaging photos, so this is what I assume they all look like now.

There will surely be review copies sent out before the release date, so we will find out soon enough.

More than likely just repackaged.

There hasn't been any announcement on a new transfer or special features

I may still get this even if it is a repackage. I like that this Target exclusive is using the original poster artwork.

The disc actually being new would just be even more incentive.

It should be an in-store release on release day but don't know how many copies of the exclusive each store will be getting compared to the standard versions. Order a copy of the exclusive online just in case you can't find it in a store on release day.
