Blu-ray Samurai

Let me start off by saying that I have no problem with the bigger black bars, I actually love the wide scope look of the 2.35:1 aspect ratio, what does annoy me though and this might sound strange and/or hypocritical, but the small black bars on the top and bottom on some 1.85:1 films can really grind my gears. Now I'm all for OAR, and like I said I'm just fine with the black bars in films shot in 2.35:1, but its the smaller bars that I could do without. In a perfect world with the exception of non widescreen 4:3 tittles, I would rather see a film completely fill up the screen or be in scope. Does anyone else share my opinion or am I just nit picking something so insignificant that I'm going crazy.
