Default Alien: Isolation for PS4

Anyone check this game coming out? It looks pretty creepy!

I'm definitely interested. I actually like Alien a smidge better than Aliens (both are all-time favorites) so I like the horror direction a lot. An actual scary game would be fantastic. After Colonial Marines, though, no Alien game is going to be a blind buy.

Sounds / looks really interesting and the gameplay looks to be a lot different from the typical Alien games. Can't wait to check it out!

Really looking forward to this. Seems like it may actually be a scary game.

Seems like unless its perfect it could be quite annoying. The concept is great, but there is an even bigger chance of poor execution in this method in my opinion.

Look at dead space 1 it didn't need to be void of weapons to scare the S* out of you.

I disagree. While I enjoyed Dead Space, it's time somebody FINALLY puts the "survival" back into survival horror. Being armed to the teeth doesn't quite give you the same feeling of helplessness as being unarmed and forced to use your wits and the things in your natural environment to survive.

True but that was the last 'Alien' game I played. The last great Horror/Sci/survival was DS1 & DS2.

It doesn't but if the AI is crappy and grabs you like in the video constantly it'll be frustrating to no end. At least if you are armed you can progress lol, this could be worse than the last game if its done poorly. That said graphics again look amazing along with the environment, but so did colonial marines for awhile.

I did not consider Dead Space armed to the teeth. If you played the hardest difficulty without exploiting, you had the starting suit and a plasma cutter to start. There were enough times I ran out of ammo and was forced to fight melee style. Emergency Department, Barracks for two areas.

I'm pretty sure that all the weapons in the game are ones your character has to fashion herself but the game makes you work for it.

I get insanely excited for any Alien game. Disappointed with CM and vs Predator as of late, but still hopeful as this one looks AMAZING!!!! Day one purchase, for sure!

It has my attention but after the last Aliens game I will wait for reviews on this one…

On a side note The Nostromo blew up?! But I guess this is alternative timeline or something.

I'm not really an Alien fan, though I thought Aliens is a great film. I heard that Colonial Marines is terrible and it got bashed to hell and back so I avoided it, but this one looks really good.

This to me looks like the definitive Alien game, so I've just pre-ordered it from Shopto. I guess not knowing when the Alien will show up will make it that much scarier, especially how no one will be able to predict when the alien will appear.
