Excellent film, I hated the look of it from the trailer but I'm more than willing to hold my hands up and say I was wrong.
Great setting, wonderful performances, and the dinner scene has to be seen to be believed.
I've got the US disc pre-ordered, can't wait another 2 months.

It looks like the Acting Olympics and I still haven't plucked up the courage to submit myself to all the scenery chewing.

To borrow your 'acting Olympics' analogy, it's only Roberts and Streep who 'go for gold' (see what I did).
Everyone else is really quite balanced.
Like I said I used to see the trailer at the cinema and think 'oh god, no' but I'm so glad I went to see the film.
Possibly my fave of the year so far.

Anyone pick this up today?

Are Asda, HMV, Sainsbury's, Tesco etc., carrying the Blu-ray, and how much are they charging for it?
