Dream Club is one of Tamsoft (yes the developer of Battle Arena Toshinden) most successful series. After a number of ports and a mahjong spinoff, Tamsoft finally has a new entry in the Dream Club series.
Degenki PlayStation revealed Dream Club: GoGo for PlayStation 3. This game has new characters Karua voiced by Kanae Oki (Jacqueline in Soul Eater), Moeki voiced by Nozomi Sasaki (Haruko in Durarara!!), Seira voiced by Ai Yamamoto, and Miyabi voiced by Hibiku Yamamura.
Players can order booze and drink with the hostesses and they will sing karaoke with you. If they’re in a good mood you can extend the amount of time you spend with them.
Dream Club: GoGo is slated for release in April 2014. The game is 55% complete.
Tamsoft, once best known for the Battle Arena Toshinden series, has been cashing in on the hostess dating game series Dream Club. What do you actually do in these games? Dream Club: Gogo is all about conversations and drinking. The game actually has a system where you drink booze with the girls.
Each hostess has their own preference about drinking. Some like strong drinks, others like weak drinks. Drinking does change the conversations you have and their responses might be different if whoever you’re chatting with is tipsy.
See the meter in the top right corner? That’s how drunk you are. If it’s full, conversation ends. In Dream Club: Gogo you can actually level up your alcohol tolerance. There are different snacks and drinks you can order in the club.
Beer is rank D, shochu is rank C, wine is also rank C, sake is rank B, and whisky is rank A. You can also order special Dream Club drinks like Dream Cocktail Light (rank F) and Dream Cocktail Magma (rank S). The hostesses can sing karaoke on stage and if they’re buzzed their performances will be different.
The new hostess from left to right are Moegi, Karia, Seira, and Miyabi.
Dream Club: Gogo is slated for release in spring 2014 for PlayStation 3.
