Sisterhood Everlasting - Summer 2015

Alloy Entertainment is developing the fifth and final novel in the Sisterhood series by Ann Brashares for feature treatment. Sisterhood Everlasting will follow the two previous pics based on The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants novels. Sisterhood Everlasting picks up ten years later, after the Sisterhood friends have grown apart. It centers on Tibby who tries to bridge the distance by reuniting the girls for a trip that will change their lives forever. Liz Garcia (The Lifeguard, Cold Case, Dawson’s Creek) will adapt the book and Ken Kwapis, who directed the original film, will return to helm the third. Les Morgenstein, president of Alloy Entertainment, and Elysa Dutton, VP of Alloy Features, will produce along with Christine Sacani.


Alloy, along with Alcon Entertainment teamed on the first two Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants films that starred Blake Lively, Alexis Bledel, America Ferrara and Amber Tamblyn. The first film was released in 2005 and the sequel followed in 2008. This is the second deal in just days between Alloy and Brashares. Alloy, Alcon and Kira Davis’ 8:38 Productions joined to acquire Brashares’ latest young adult novel, The Here And Now, released earlier this month by Delacorte Press.

America Ferrera is signed on and the rest of the original cast is in talks.
