United Kingdom New BBFC/UK rulings

http://www.moviemail.com/blog/news/1...ie-DVD-labels/

Arrow Films posted this onto their Facebook page. thought I'd share it.

they are saying that it will cost to get the extra's classified, this means limited and special editions will be limited to what content that that distributor can afford or is willing to spend. and this has already been passed and comes into affect as of May.

Thanks for the link, Casperuk. So much for the government trying to help small businesses out of the recession. This will only make things worse.

It shouldn't be. I was going to move it from here back to the main collectibles section but it looks like SB's have their own entire sub forum instead of sharing it with collectibles. haha

That....doesn't make any sense. Steelbooks tend to have no special extras whatsoever compared to anything and just repackage the regular disc, and "steelbook collectors" for some odd reason care more about packaging than content, so if anything it affects them less than most

I don't know...I think last night/this morning sometime.
They want to separate the SB's and highlight them since they are a main interest to collectors.

Thats not always true. Off the top of my head, the UK Hurt Locker steelbook had more extras compared to the UK amaray.
