Default Top 5 Television Characters

Who are your favorites? Why? What kinds of characters impacted your television viewing experience forever? I'll add my one when I can place it.

1. Homer Simpson. A revealing albeit hilarious archetype of the American working class male that has remained funny for 25 years, even if the shows quality has declined.
2. Walter White. A television character whose primary purpose was to change over the course of 5 seasons. TV characters often never go anywhere as time progresses, and Breaking Bad shunned typical TV drama problems. Writing, casting, direction, cinematography. It really doesn't get any better for me.
3. Nate Fisher: Another character that progressed as the show went on. He was neither a good or bad guy, nor black/white. I loved six feet under because it presented people how they actually are. Flawed, complex, selfish and itching closer to death each and every day.
4. Jean Luc Picard. Methodical, smart, overall bad ass. He could beat you with his brain or his fists and nobody has a more commanding voice than Patrick Stewart. Even if you don't call yourself a star trek fan, you'd be doing yourself a disservice by passing up one of the television's greatest performers by not watching TNG.
5.
