I have a Standard 5.1 system, that's very good for it's age. It does not do lossless except for two channels through my optical cables.
I was watching Dressed To Kill fairly recently and I really enjoyed the 5.1 sound on it, felt very impressive and clear. However, I have heard people say that the 2.0 track is more 'authentic' and the like. I'm wondering how people actually watch Mono and Stereo 2.0s with some blu rays. I mean, if i'm using Linear PCM, my system defaults to either Dolby Pro Logic, Hall, Stereo or Theatre. What if i'm watching Mono? Which would is it advised I use? Thanks in advance.
