picked up hitchikers guide to the galaxy the other day. a little grainier than I would have liked. And that movie has sooooo much potential if they made it look better.

Gotta remember that this was released almost a year ago and we've come a long way since then. Just think about the Non-Remastered 5th Element...terrible quality on PQ. So, give it a bit of slack.

didnt realize it was an older one.

And I took advantage of the fifth element remaster trade in deal. should be getting the new one in about a week. yessss

Yeah - I was not too impressed. Kind of wished I had just lived with my DVD version. Oh well - got it for $15.

It wasn't grain that bothered me, but overall softness and lack of detail in many scenes.

still better than the dvd version. a HELL of a lot better imo.

That movie disappointed me, although it wasn't as bad as some reviewers seemed to think IMO.

At any rate, I will not be replacing my DVD for that one.

i hate the movie the first time i watched it for some reason. my girlfriend convinced me to watch it again, now i love it. ive watched it about 5 times since i got the BD version.
