I think all movies should be available on blu even the ones I hate because they all have their fans, however in keeping with the spirit of the thread I nominate any repackaged double dip.

She's Out of My League was released on Blu-Ray 3 years ago, isn't out of print and isn't extremely expensive as in the case of Zodiac and Akira. That's why it was unnecessary, WB reissued a film for $10 less.

I sensed a lot of Independence Day influence in Armageddon. But I just looking at Bay's filmography I'd have to say Emmerich's is worse. Bay at his worse (Pearl Harbor) is still better than Emmerich at his worse (Godzilla). Plus the latest Bay film (Pain & Gain) is more rewatchable than the latest Emmerich film (White House Down).

I'm not sure what the gripe is here. Paramount basically hired Warner to distribute much of their library and Warner is doing it at lower prices than Paramount used to.

So if the reissue is ten dollars less and was already not that expensive, what's the problem? Fans who didn't already have it can get it cheaper now. Or is it simply because you don't like this type of film? I mean you could have picked on any of Warner's reissues of Paramount titles.
