Blu-ray Baron

I find it maddening. You could have a boxset with several movies on BD, nice packaging, high price tag, but the studio still gets cheap with the bonus disc by puttng it on DVD. And I'm not just talking about SD vs HD quality, but the disc itself is inferior. Blu-ray Discs have that extra layer of protection (scratch resistant coating). Sometimes the bonuses are better than the movies themselves (such as a documentary or other rare footage). It annoys me so much when I see the bonus disc is a DVD.
How do you feel about it? |
