Purchase it in SD (the $2) Take a photo of the bluray disc and full cover art and upload it to a ticket. They will upgrade it properly for free.

They also told me they'd refund if I purchased it in HD and it charged me the full amount, instead of the $2... but for me it is easier to just let them change it for me since I am always running low on vudu credits

How much times have you done that? Whats the turn around on the refund and changing to HD?
