Stop motion (hyphenated stop-motion when used as an adjective) is an animation technique that physically manipulates an object so that it appears to move on its own. The object is moved in small increments between individually photographed frames, creating the illusion of movement when the series of frames is played as a continuous sequence.

Keep in mind "stop-motion" doesn't necessarily equal "clay-motion", more movies use the technique. Feel free to explore the internet, since stop-motion includes lots of older or foreign movies, also titles I didn't even think about.

RULES?

• A minimum of 10, a maximum of 20 titles. (a top 12, 15, 17 or so is also allowed)
• Only feature films, no shorts.
• Titles have to include 50% stop motion, at least. For example : "The Lost World" (1925), "King Kong" (1933), "James & the Giant Peach" (1996) and "The Little Prince" (2015) are valid choices.
• Computer animated titles imitating the stop-motion style, like "The Lego Movie", do not count.
• Lists have to be completed by October 31.

#19 = 02 point
#20 = 01 point

Yes, the top 3 gets extra points, that makes it more interesting and gives people the chance to push their faves. So it's important you choose wise.
