Lionsgate iTunes

On their very recent releases, has Lionsgate dropped iTunes because they seem to support Ultraviolet on the packaging of their BD releases but I've been told that the UV code that comes on these recent releases also works with iTunes.

Is this correct?

If you mean for example Escape Plan, you're right! It comes with itunes code

But they don't advertise it on the packaging like they use to. Does the slip inside specify that you can use the UV code for either one?

I'm curious because this changes my Hunger Games plans completely if this is true.

Some people on dcuvhd.com sell their itunes codes there for Escape Plan.

Interesting to note, Escape Plan is distributed by Lionsgate on behalf of Summit Entertainment. From what I've seen, non-Summit titles distributed by Lionsgate have no iTunes, but Summit ones still have the option. I might wait to see whether Hunger Games Catching Fire has iTunes, but at the moment it is looking very unlikely, which sucks for those who enjoyed iTunes with the first release...

This was my suspicion. Damn.

I have a tough decision ahead of me. Either wait for the eventual boxset or go iTunes all the way for this possibly amazing series.
