Default The Film Recommendation Thread

It's often difficult for me to discern why I like a certain movie. It's not as simple as saying, "I love comedies, I love noir, I hate thrillers, I hate drama." To me, taste is more complex. Basically, I will mention a movie I have recently seen and liked and someone else will suggest another film. It could be similar thematically, tonally, or have nothing in common at all with the film other than your hunch that I would like it based on my pick. It's not a requirement that these films be available on Blu-ray (though it's a bonus), in fact, it might be better to say, "Hey, you might like this and it's on Netflix, Hulu, etc. for you to watch right now."

Also, be sure to include your pick after your recommendation for the previous poster to keep things moving along.

I will begin with something I watched a few nights ago, which is not quite like anything else I've ever seen: Corridors of Blood

Your turn!
