Goat Simulator Coming to PS4, PS3 on August 11th

Following a collaboration with Coffee Stain Studios, I am delighted to announce that Goat Simulator will be available on PS4 and PS3 starting August 11th!

Perhaps you’ve heard of Goat Simulator, perhaps you haven’t, but for those of you who have spent their days hoping to be a Goat, causing mayhem up, up, down, down, left right, left right of you — your dreams have finally come true! This is Goat Simulation on the bleeting edge of technology!

You Can Fly
No, really, you can. Be it by jetpack, hang glider or wrapping your insanely long tongue around a helicopter, you can take to the skies as a goat.



You Can Blow Stuff Up
Not only can you blow stuff up, but you’re also able to get up and walk away after being involved in an explosion; how many goats do you know who can say that?



You Can Headbutt Stuff
Well, at the end of the day, you are a goat…



You Can Do Cool Tricks Mid-air
Often compared with a popular skater game of years gone by, you can also do cool mid-air tricks in Goat Simulator.



Multiplayer
Local co-op allows for two players on PS3 and four players on PS4 to share in the Goaty goodness!



GoatVR
We’ve been working on GoatVR for some time, and we’re pleased to debut it in the Playstation editions of Goat Simulator. GoatVR is the most authentic “simulated GoatVR experience” that doesn’t require a helmet or anything. Although it’s not quite ready yet we felt it better to stay ahead of the crowd and let it out into the wild.
We still need to do that part where it connects to an actual headset but for now you can enjoy a simulated GoatVR experience without it. We’ve also added a score multiplier to help offset the concerns we’ve had from a very few number of Beta testers that felt it was somewhat difficult to “see where you are going.”

Grabbed this on PC back when it came out but I wouldn't mind getting it on PS4 to fart around in if it's cheap enough

I thought the same thing. It would be worth it to hear my 3 year old laugh at the goat running around. He loves that GEICO goat commercial.

So having never done anything with this, never seen any video of this, and anything beyond those screenshots and the name and what little ya'll said in this thread....along with the previous references I've seen to this title across various comment threads:

WTF is this? Is this like...PAIN only with a goat? You just throw a Goat across the environment and eff stuff up and then reset and do it again?

Not sure why this has gotten the praise I've heard in the past in comments. Seems kinda stupid.

EDIT: This coming from someone that loves PAIN and would be the only person in the world that would love a PS4 Remaster with all DLC. PLEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASE SONY DO THIS!!!!

Yeah this is far from simulator material but that's probably a good thing.

Reminds me what would happen if you turned Tony Hawk into a Goat... for real.

Any game that lets you play as a Goat has potential to be great fun. Nice to see Goat Simulation finally arriving on PS4. I wonder if it'll have a disc version or probably just digital.

It's amazing how many PC games out there are offering genres we haven't see often:

Goat Simulator at 9.99 was a good decision since it's an older game. How big is the open world I wonder?

Which of the DLCs would you guys an gals recommend for this? They're reduced in the March PSN sale and I thought I'd pick up a couple. This game is so much fun.

I got the game during that Free to PS Plus subscribers recently that but I am personally waiting for the DLC bundle set to go on sale. While only the Star Wars parody Set interests me, but each of the DLC has DLC trophies.
