4k noob question - Blu-ray Forum

Hi everyone I'm thinking about buying a 4K TV soon but my receiver is only HDMI 1.4 so I understand it won't support HDR or 4K but if I connect my PS3 to it will I still get a 1080P picture and lossless sound?

Yes you will. If you decide to purchase a UHD Player you would plug the player directly into the tv for video and the player's second HDMI output to the receiver for sound.
