I am curious about the perceptions of generations younger than myself when it comes to BD title releases that I saw in the theater as a kid and teenager. For example. The release of 2001 on BD. I did not see it at it's opening in 1968, but did see it through cinema releases in the 70's. Close Encounters I saw in the theater in 1977 when I was 17 years old. These are just an example of two very high quality films being released at the moment and I wanted to know if younger generations are able to appreciate older movies that they did not grow up on. Or is excellent film making recognized by any generation?
