Hopefully it will be 1080p (the French BD is 1080i) and with removable subtitles. (Concorde's BD of "The Mothman Prophecies" has forced German subtitles.)
EDIT: There's a statement in German about the release, from Concorde, found here (under "Kommentare"): Quote:

I would be a bit disappointed if it had the same exact video/audio quality as the France Blu-ray but it wouldn't surprise me at all. Not that the France Blu-ray isn't anything to brag about, it's the best the film has ever looked on home video so far period got to appreciate it. What bugs me is the total lack of a proper release in the USA, this movie deserves so much better.

The German Disc uses the French Blu Ray master with better compression:
http://screenshotcomparison.com/comparison/139963/ Look especially at Screenshots 2 (left side of the Picture), Screenshot 3 (Background on the whole left side of the image. French has Artifacts that are gone on the German Disc) or Screenshot 8. I did this comparison and if someone have doubts because of the JPG Compression i can assure you that the uncompressed PNGs looks the same. I always check this before i upload a comparison. The disc is in correct 1080p 23,976 fps. The French BD was 1080i 25fps. And it has real English 5.1 Sound. The French has only 2.0 BDInfo Scan of the German Disc: Code:

The only text in German is the Scrolltext right before the End Credits. And btw: The Disc is Codefree! I would recommend the Disc to everybody whos interested in the Movie. Way better than the French Blu Ray disc because of the better encoding, 1080p instead of 1080i, the changes from french to english, 5.1 Sound instead of 2.0 |

That was one of my fears when I originally bought the French blu-ray, but it turned out that the 2.0 audio sounded pretty awesome and powerful!
I certainly would be happy to trade my French Blu-ray for the German Blu-ray. Anyone? Anyone? ![]() |

Watched my copy last night. I'm pretty happy with the PQ/AQ. The 5.1 in particular is quite strong and featured more surround use than I would have thought. Having seen the screen shot comparisons, I would upgrade if I were you. The picture and sound are both superior to the French disc.
