The series was produced in 4K Dolby Vision, so I was hoping there would be a physical UHD release.

I thought it was 2K DV? Which is fine for 4K release still.

Regardless, they haven't released any of the other shows on UHD so I wouldn't hold out any hope. They've been finishing in HDR formats since Discovery.

Paramount are releasing Reacher and Jack Ryan on 4k in the US over the next few weeks, but they know alot of us mugs will double dip for Star Trek. I wouldn't be surprised if they start releasing the 4k Trek over the next couple of years.

That's the 4K steelbook.

The 4K standard is £20 cheaper, and seems very reasonable at £40. The BD versions even more so.

Why anyone would pay £20 extra for packaging alone, I dunno.

Looks like the end of the year is going to be quite expensive with Babylon 5, Picard Season 3 and the Mandalorian Season 1 & 2
