Germany Star Trek XI Blu-ray - New Villain "Nero" Steelbook

Paramount is going to release a new Steelbook for the 2009 film. Release date is 3.6.2014!

http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00HW529PK/

It's a perfect match to the Kirk/Spock Steelbook from last year!

Oh, bloody hell!
Give it a rest Paramount!

There are enough different looking Star Trek XI steelbooks at the moment. We don't need another one!

This will be a good companion piece to the previous Star Trek steebook with Captain Kirk on one side and Spock on the other. Not a bad idea Paramount, not a bad idea at all.

Buying the same movie all over again, simply because of collecting a different artwork version of the case? This is like buying multiple copies of the same magazine or book, simply because there are different cover artworks, except a more expensive waste of money. They could keep doing this every year (selecting different heads from the photo shoot). Still I wish they released the DC of Wrath

There's been at least 3 different steelbooks released for "Star Trek XI" over the years.
Look Paramount. The film was good, but it wasn't THAT good.

Slow down.

I preordered just to lock it in but I will probably cancel. I don't have a steel for this movie.

It's not.
I just don't see the point in another re-release.

It seems redundant to me.

It is not redundant, if it is actually setting you up to collect all four different steelbook variations.

#1 Kirk-Spock (2013)
#2 Nero-Uhura (2014)
#3 McCoy-Scotty (2015)
#4 Sulu-Chekov (2016)

I just had a good look at amazon.de it states

""Shipping in Original Packaging:
When shipping by Amazon: This item is shipped directly in its packaging. Please consider this if you want to give away the product - in this case, let him gift-wrapped if necessary and it will be shipped in another box.""

so I did read something about this in another thread, is it just posted without being put in a box of any sort, without any protection??

Well, let's just all shut up and let Paramount rerelease Star Trek '09 with a dozen new designs 'cause, hey, nobody's getting 'hurt' right?

No, Steelbooks are usually shipped in one of these.

I hope I'm not confusing things, I live in Germany but most of my Amazon steelbooks are from the UK. Now that I think about it I'm not sure if they ship steelbooks in these particular packagings. But in any case, I have indeed ordered steelbooks from Amazon.de in the past and the packaging was fine.
