This was the most impressive demo for showing up-close detail, without quick camera-cuts, for me. Would've liked to have seen more racing to see where they're positioning the gameplay, physics-wise, but there's plenty of time..

Game looks amazing. I'm glad that the realistic racer prediction came true, this will be day one fr e just like motorstorm was on PS3

Sony should've got these guys to work on Gran Turismo 6. Polyphony dropped the ball on the PS3 game with so many delays.

It may look realistic but I'd bet on it straddling the line between arcade and sim racing like PGR.

This game definitely has me the most intrigued. I love Evolution's work, but this looks fantastic, not only on a visual perspective but from a fun perspective as well. Can't wait to see more on this.

I've always wondered just how much car model data these devs get direct from the manufacturers. I doubt many of them go into that much fine texture detail even for promotional material and stuff.

PD could still use some of these models though, from what I can gather they are based on real cars and the models look superb.

Are they aiming this for launch then? Remember MotorStorm got its online patched in for the initial Japanese release.

It looks like this game will restrict you to the cockpit view, which is great. Loved how they are attempting to give you a better connection to the car, by showing your avatar opening the doors, buckling up and starting the engine.

I wonder how the whole prospect of "Team Racing" will actually work. Its probably best to join a team from a large forum, like this one.

Maybe this sounds crude but I wish they showed a crash in the trailer. We just saw Killzone and Infamous environments get blasted and destroyed in real time, as well as cars exploding in Watchdogs, so I wanted to see next-gen crash effects.

I definitely get a TDU2 vibe, just enhanced in every way. TDU2 did a great job with the first person point of view, cockpit, even being able to go to car dealers and such. Also had a heavy online presence with clubs or whatever. This game gives me that tdu2 vibe, just better in probably every way.

Yeah I am really curious about that too. I think there's a lot of things they could do. They could do challenges like Burnout Paradise and Most Wanted did, or maybe stuff like "your club has to have an average lap time of 1:32.14 or less at x circuit". But yeah, definitely wanting more details about that stuff.

I'm sure we'll have a club here too

I don't recall anything being said about open world. I don't know if it will, and I don't think it's a necessity either. I just got some tdu vibes from it.

I remember him saying "tracks". So I think it will feature closed courses and not free roam.

Not really a bad thing as long as the tracks have an interesting layout. Closed courses usually offer more variety and locations then free roam as they arent restricted to a single city or area.

We do know they will all have time of day and weather change.
