Streaming audio to PS3

Hi all -

When I rip CDs and stream via Windows Media Player 11, they appear on the PS3 just fine and I can play them.

However - the PS3 has the songs out of order. While I can create playlists with the correct order, that's tedious.

Anyone know why the PS3 does this? Terribly annoying.

i think u one of few poplein world that actrualy notcied lol but seriesly this is a good thing

I have Nero 8 and I haven't used it to stream music yet..

however it streams video a lot better than anything else I've used...

but it still skips here and there....maybe every couple of minutes..there may be even a 10 minute gap between skipping unlike Nero 7 among others that would skip every 5 seconds...

i didn't even notice that the PS3 is simply displaying the titles in alpha order.

The current solution - which still kinda blows 'cause it takes more time, is to rename the files in wmp11's library as "01 [song title]" "02 [song title]" and so on. not too bad i guess. i have many albums where the music really needs to be listened to in a particular order.

what i need to do is see if i can figure out where wmp11 stores its library list and then write up a quick c#.net program to automate the process. i'm a programmer and therefore lazy by nature
