Default Has Anyone Ever Contacted a Studio to Replace a Damaged Disc?

I just opened up my Arrow Season 1 Blu-Ray set that I bought way back on Black Friday and much to my surprise, the first disc in the set has a big crack through it. The crack is pretty large and there is no hope of saving the disc. I'm well past the return period and I'd doubt Walmart even carries this title anymore, so an exchange is out of the question. If it was just a movie, I'd probably just replace it, but given that it's a TV series, I'd have to buy a whole new set and I'm not interested in spending that much on something I already bought and should be able to use. So, has anyone ever contacted a studio, Warner is particular since this is a Warner disc, to try to get them to exchange a disc? Any advice about my options?
