Default BDP-S1 to offer multiple Video Codec's
Sony finally put on the dealer website the "key technologies" that will be on the BDP-S1 when it is released in October. You can interpret just what this means, and I'll type it just as it is written:

Video Codec Format: MPEG2/MPEG-4-AVC/VC-1

Does this mean the player is capable of all the Codec's ? There was not any mention or statement if the HDMI is the 1.3 Standard or not. More to follow as I get it. Was this helpful ?
