"Jem and the Holograms" Coming Soon From Jon M. Chu - Blu-ray Forum

Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse for Saturday Morning cartoons adapted into live action films, it does.

All chuckling aside, it was 100% confirmed that Jon M. Chu will direct a lice action film adaption of the Saturday Morning cartoon series, "Jem and the Holograms". Chu is teaming up with producer Jason Blum to direct the movie, which will be produced before G.I. Joe 3.

While they admitted that the script is taking a little longer than usual, the movie is progressing. The story was verified through Jon Chu's tweets and the story was covered by Slashfilm:
