Kickboxer: The Complete Collection

El Rey Network ran a marathon of the Kickboxer franchise last weekend and I had the foresight to record all of the sequels. I've been working my way through each film, one per night, this week and I have to say as silly as the plots are in these things I really really like them. The HD prints look far better than they have any right to look and the goofy early 90's WGN vibe is just too much fun.

I know in the past the El Rey network has been a sort of testing ground for many upcoming films that are new to Blu Ray, and so I really, REALLY hope that these films will see a release by the end of the year as well and weren't just a one off airing. With Lionsgate jumping back into their back catalog this year these look like they could be primed for an official blu ray release. Here's hoping I'm correct.
