That means Cinderella (and its "sequels") should be next, or has it Vaulted already?

It came out after Peter Pan, so it's next in line to get vaulted.

Actually, Cinderella (October 2012) came out before Peter Pan (February 2013); both should have gone to the Vault this year. In fact, printed DMC materials from around Xmas said Cinderella was headed to the Vault as well; but all online & current printed materials from DMC only mention Peter Pan.

I can only assume Cinderella's being kept out for Kenneth Branagh's live-action version due in 2015, much like Sleeping Beauty is returning early this year to coincide with the likely BD release of Maleficent.

I assume everyone will be rushing out to get them some Peter now

I need to grab it ASAP I guess but money is extremely tight right now and I won't be able to even attempt to get it for another month or two, guess I should grab Cinderella while I'm at it also

I see Disney is still working their "panic revenue is just as good as any revenue" tactics?

I just got Peter Pan at Target for just $25 yesterday.

Haven't seen it since I was a kid.

Judging from past vaultings, Cinderella should have been scheduled for vaulting along with Peter Pan this coming April.

RBBrittain has guessed at the likely reason Cinderella is not being vaulted, and I'm pretty convinced he's right. (I also remember the DMC materials indicating Cinderella would be vaulted soon.)

Considering the live-action Cinderella film comes out next March, though, I wonder if the extension will be for more than a year (since that is so close to the usual vaulting date)? Giving it an extra year will already make it the longest a Diamond Edition has been officially let out of the vault by quite a margin.

I just ordered Peter Pan myself. Cinderella is next, Im not sure about the sequels of others. I figured the Diamond Editions go into the vault every April 30th so I'm not surprised by this. I'm sure next year it will be Jungle Book and The Little Mermaid's turn to go into the vault.

I feel silly waiting this long to get it.

In the US it hasn't had its Blu-Ray release so yes it's in the vault. But it will be getting released.

Thanks. Is there any way to see when Lion King will be freed from the vault?

I don't think so, I'm sure it will be a long time unfortunately. This vault business is so silly!

It's still around if you look a bit. Amazon third party sellers and GoHastings have it in the low $30s. Some B&N brick & mortar stores still have it on the shelves as well... $40, but a membership & coupons will bring the price down.
