Yep, I'm going to see it in a couple of hours. One of my 2 favorite Hitchcock films along with North by Northwest.

I got to see it today. Awesome. However, the audio seemed really low for some reason.

This was amazing too because I got to see Vertigo in theaters two weeks ago and last year I got to see North by Northwest on the big screen.

How was the turnout for you guys? There were about 30 at my showing. My PQ/AQ was just ok. Was so jazzed to see it with a crowd of fellow fans.

Sound was good at the local theater...picture was perfect!

This is the first time I had seen it in the theater since the early 80s when it was re-released into the theaters along with Vertigo, North By Northwest and a couple of others.

I see a couple of classics at the theater per month...next month Breakfast at Tiffany's is playing!

Saw it back in I think 1998 at the local arthouse theater. It was right after the restoration was done, so it looked great. The turnout wasn't that big though.

BTW, that same theater showed a brand new 35mm print of Wrath of Khan in 2007(for the 25th anniversary) and that was a packed house. So people will pay for a ticket to see a classic film on the bigscreen, just some movies more than others.

Let's see, there was about 20 people in my theater. Half of them showed up after the movie had already started, which was distracting as hell.

My local arthouse theater just started running mainstream oldies along with the indie fair...Commando in June!

Yeah, I agree..as long as people know, and with today's social media that's so much easier, the market is there. Even in 'Merica!

Yeah, had a few of those, but seeing as how the average age of my audience was 65 I couldn't get too peeved. But there was a young kid dragged in by his grandparents who kept getting up. Thankfully he sat closer to the exit after a while. ;P
