How can you check if a code is still valid without redeeming it?

I have a couple UV codes that I'm not sure work or not, but have no way to check without accidentally downloading them. Is there any way to verify them?

Also, I have a Vudu movie in my UV collection that I want to delete so Ican replace it with a Flixster code of the exact same movie. Please tell me, is this beyond stupid on my part, as it's literally the exact same movie, or is there a valid reason to do this? Thanks-

Just link both flixster and vudu to the same uv locker (using your account at uvvu.com) and the movie in question will appear in both services. There is no need to redeem a second code for the same title.

Flickfab, do you have any idea how to check an iTunes code, that requires a disc or XML, without redeeming it? I know how to check one's without disc/XML (I downloaded iTunes 9.1 and keep clicking cancel on the button asking me to agree to new terms and that allows me to check without redeeming).

It should ask you to log in and then if it's valid, it will ask you to insert the disc. If you never insert the disc, I am not sure if it invalidates it or not. I thought not, but trying to sort it out in the DMA thread right now.

I checked this code, and it appeared valid

but after continue, you have to choose between flixster or vudu or sony pictures and they all come up invalid

Did you log in? If you logged in, then you redeemed the code even if you didn't intend to. If you did not log in, you may be able to ask the studio when it was redeemed.

no, I don't have an account, so I just checked the first step and stopped, but someone with an account couldn't redeem me

I guess we'll have to contact the studio
