United Kingdom Vanishing Point Steelbook (Limited Edition) (UK)

My favorite ever film and one I couldn't import because the US version is region locked. I was thinking about this film yesterday. This is the best news of the year so far, and it's getting a Steelbook release

I hope the disc has all the stuff on the US release

Amazon UK

That's a big spoiler for anyone who hasn't seen the film. Hopefully both versions will be on the disc.

Here's a review of the Region A locked US disc:

Not impressed, I hope the final art is different. The current US artwork would have looked very nice in metallic ink or there are several other decent posters that would have worked. The back cover should be a horizontal deboss of the number plate. It's been issued in several European countries without the UK cut and Fox issued the UK DVD without that cut which does not fill me with optimism

This is the final artwork, I have never known Fox to change the artwork once it has been revealed.

Is this the movie where a guy rockets through the desert for a 135 mins only for the movie to end as the inside artwork dictates? If so, I remember almost all the movie being rather bland.

A bit expensive, I'll wait for the inevitable price drop. Same cut as the US I guess which means no extended UK cut for the UK release

Mine arrived today, along with Butch Cassidy and Speed.

No emboss/deboss, matte finish, and metallic color. The front of the 1/4 slip is lighter than the steelbook. Kind of expected this, still like it.
What's funny is the 2nd line of text on the front cover:

Colour: Alpha White
It's more like Alpha Metallic.

Can someone please confirm the extras on this disc? Are both versions of the film on?

No extras are listed, and runtime only says 98mins. Also says Region A-B-C.
There is no mention of different film versions. All this is from the back cover, of the 1/4 slip.

They don't list any extras on those slips. Just the disc running time, audio and subtitles. Can someone put the disc in and check please?

We actually watched this one yesterday...

I had a quick glance through the extras and I *THINK* it is the same extras as on the US disc. The movie is unfortunately only the shorter Theatrical version (strange as the longer version is called the UK Cut on the US disc )
