If Paramount/Olive Films ever decides to release the pre-October 1950 Noveltoons on Blu-ray (and DVD, too), I would want the cartoons to be remastered from their original Technicolor (Polacolor for Flip Flap) camera negatives, with all the film grain intact, and presented in their original aspect ratio of 1.37:1. I would also want it to include the first (and possibly only) home video release of the 1948 Noveltoon Cat o' Nine Ails, since that cartoon does exist at the UCLA Film and Television Archive.
And as for how the cartoons would be released, I would love it if they were released as one three-disc set, but they would probably be released as three single-disc "volumes", with 17 cartoons on each volume. In any case, if the Noveltoons were to be released for real, I'd totally buy them for sure! ![]() |
