Loomis Ca, & Citrus Height Ca,
Default Movies or TV series that anger you that they exist

Hey guys,
This is thread dedicated to those Films/TV series that piss you off that the exist.

I'll be the first to bite and I'm trying to maintain my ranting towards this down as I complained about it a lot:
Evil Dead(2013) pisses me off that both Sam Raimi & Bruce Campbell knew for 20 years fan wanted a sequel to Army of Darkness(Evil Dead 3) but they never made that but instead of making that film they allowed for The Evil Dead franchise(something they pretend to love but in reality don't) to be cheapened by some no name a$$hole to remake it.

As for TV series:
From Dusk till Dawn:The Series pisses me off because the film is my favorite film of all time and they was no need for a lame TV series remake of it.They're really was no need for the sequels, video game & whatever franchise they attempted to make out of it IMHO it should've been a 1 off film. But the series had to exist for some reason and was pointless as how are you going to improve upon the perfection that film already had.

No tell me what are a few of yours.

I was initially pissed off at the movie Maleficent until I realized I didn't have to see it. So I didn't.

Getting angry at movies/TV shows simply for existing seems like a stressful way to go through life.

Look away! Look away! There's a multitude of entertainment options out there. The only time I'm somewhat angry is when they release a horrible remake on Blu-ray without releasing the original. Other than that, I feel it's something of a waste of time as well.

Reboots, remakes, TV series based on movies and other things, they will always be around.

Now just because they make them, does not mean I have to watch them. I have ignored and skip countless movies and TV series, I don't care if they were made, if I have no interest in them, won't bother with them. I am sure some people somewhere are happy some of these are being made, good for them. Life too short to get worked up over these types of things.

There are several shows that I don't like. Like other posters I just choose to not watch or ignore them. There's to many other things in life to stress over than a show I don't like.

New topic:

I'll go first

This one.

JK I'm not angry its just that wow there is so many more things in the world that you need someone to talk to or give you a hug if a movie or TV show angers you to the point that you need to let the world know. There are alot of things made that I wish to never see but I'm not angry about it.

BTW the Evil Dead remake is fantastic, I watched expecting to be seriously displeased but amn did I leave with a smile on my face

While I respect everybody else's opinions, I can't help but feel a bit annoyed whenever I remember that a Keith Lemon movie exists...

I don't tend to get extremely angry over many TV shows, but several definitely irritate and annoy me. Most are the sitcoms which rely on crassness, like "Friends", "How I Met Your Mother", or "The Big Bang Theory". Like I said in a different thread, I really miss fare like "The Cosby Show" or "Family Ties", where creativity was deemed more important.

Nothing.

There are movies that I am sorry that I spent money on. But that's my fault more often than not.

Default ummm, okay ...I'll play...

how about ...

Once upon a time a brilliant writer/director took the 80's film scene by storm, breathed new life into the genre of hardcore science fiction (with subsequent apologies to mr. Harlan Ellison), pretty much handed Arnold, Linda and Michael their careers and blew all of our collective minds with, of course "The Terminator".

Then he goes and does it again, creating perhaps one of the best sequels ever ...I mean seriously, "Terminator 2: Judgement Day" sits up there with "The Dark Knight", "Aliens" and "The Godfather: Part II". Hell, the film was so good it even almost gave Edward F. a career!

Mr. Cameron created one of the best, most amazing ongoing science fiction film series of all time and then he doesn't even bother finishing the trilogy??!! The man conquered the oscars AND naysayers with great films such as "Aliens", "Titanic" and "True Lies" ...covering drama, comedy, thriller, etc... he had nothing left to prove and, of course, it was (and always will be) up to him what he does next, but I will always feel that the Terminator film legacy after the first two has been one long succession of let downs and failures. How Cameron could possibly let go of his "baby" will always leave me a bit annoyed ...especially considering he's decided to spend his creative energy of the vastly inferior "Avatar" series???

James Cameron doesn't do what James Cameron does for James Cameron. James Cameron does what James Cameron does because James Cameron is James Cameron.

I could give a laundry list of the craptacular sequels to good movies but I don't have that much time. Reboots are bugging me more these days. Especially when they are of classics and have 0% chance of being half as good as the original.
Last one to irritate me on hearing of it alone was a Ben Hur remake. Once I hear of these, I avoid all postings (after I've sited my discontent of course) then wait for it to come and go and sink into the abyss where it belongs.

Speaking of Abyss, where's that Abyss bluray already???

James Cameron never planned a trilogy with The Terminator, so there was nothing for him to finish. He'd done everything he wanted to do with the concept and then he moved on. Why should he continue when he felt he'd done everything he felt he could do ? The studio just wanted the films to continue for purely financial reasons.

Funny, because you picked like 3 of the most recent benign popular sitcoms in my opinion.

Stay far away from The League, It's Always Sunny, Louie, Workaholics and what not. (which are all hilarious however)

Oh, there's a lot more on my list in this regard; I just picked some I knew folks would recognize.

Chill out dude, you can always watch the first two Terminator movies on their own, and it makes a decent and complete duology. Having it end
[Show spoiler]with Cyberdyne getting blown up, all terminators terminated, and nuclear war averted
is still a pretty satisfying ending; a third movie was never necessary.

Everything that happens afterwards is gravy.

Honestly, if "Friends" is considered 'crass' then I don't know what to tell you. It was about as easy-going as a show could be. Yikes.
