What does a UV/DC redemption cost studios? anyone know?

If you redeem a code in iTunes the studio must pay Apple something right? So do they pay Walmart for a Vudu redemption. Do they push for a Flixster or direct studio redemption so it costs them less? Does anyone know this? I have been looking for this info and cant find anything except that Fox is going with UV more so they dont have to pay for an activation code and pay for a digital copy disc. But i want more info. anyone know where i can find it? thanks
