I didn't actually get around to seeing it, to be honest. I'm going to blind buy it, as I like DC stuff, but I'm aware it could go either way at this point.

However, I have had friends tell me it was fun, so that's something.

They gave it a more humorous approach, probably in response to the negative feedback of BVS, and to be honest, it felt very forced.

You can definitely see the Whedon flavour in it.

As for the film itself, it was just ok.

DC should be dark....leave the forced humor to the Marvel films...

It was alright.
If you liked the DC movie universe so far, you might as well keep up to date.

I was expecting a longer cut on blu-ray just like Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice. Haven't seen this yet. I was quite underwhelmed by Wonder Woman but liked the Dawn of Justice film so I will take a chance on this.

I’ve liked all the DC movies up till now but as good as Justice League could have been it was a big let down, even my 7 year old thought it was a bit crap.

Visually stunning tho

Pointers for this:

You can tell it was made to be a strict 2 hour cut
You can tell clearly what were reshoots and changes
If/When they do a longer cut, much like SS it will help out
There are some epic cinematic sequences/moments you'll enjoy
Worth a watch even if just for the fact it'll probably have some stunning HDR and quality (ignoring some dodgy cgi which is rumored to have been altered further)

Amazon France suggests 3d disc is region 2 locked. Anyone have any info suggesting region free?

Also did any of you see JL in 3d and can comment on the quality of the 3d? We "only" had 2d IMAX...

It's a Warner release, it won't be locked.

It was pretty poor and definitely deserved it’s awful reviews by both critics and the public. I’m not at all surprised that Ben Affleck wants to walk away from the franchise. Even before his solo film. He wants out ASAP and suicide squad 2 May be his last film as Batman. It’s a shame really as he could have made a good Batman if the films weren’t rubbish.

JL can be entertaining if you just turn your brain off, but it clearly highlights the massive gap in quality between what DC/Warner are doing, and the excellent job Marvel/Disney are doing.

Personally I had a blast!! I saw it 5 times. It is lighter than the previous DC entries but no way near the over the top forced comedic tone the Marvel movies have. It is a matter of personal taste. I dont know what movie the critics saw but it wasnt this one. The whole DC vs Marvel comparison is ridiculous. Not all super hero movies have to be like Marvel. The fact that the majority of people blindly follow critic review scores like rotten tomatoes, because they have to know from someone else if the movie is good or not is just plain stupid!! Alot of movies today suffer from this.

Does anyone know if the 1.78:1 aspect ratio is cropped 1.85:1 or is it just opened-up? Warner Bros. seem to have got the specs wrong on the box art.
