Default Redeeming 2 digital codes.... Will HD replace SD?

So I have several movies that I downloaded quite some time ago and I stream them through my Apple TV. However, they are all standard definition since the codes where quite old. My question is, I have come across new redemption codes for these films in HD and want to redeem them but I'm unsure about how this would work my library. Will it simply replace the SD version in the cloud? Or will it show the same movie twice? One in SD and one in HD? That's my biggest concern I don't want the movie showing up twice in my library, anybody have any experience with this? Thanks!

When I put in a code for the steel book Incredible Hulk movie it replaced my SD version.. Just depends on the movie I guess in some cases mine doubled and others were replaced. Weird.

Yeah you can hide it...I did that for a few of my doubles and SD films.

It was easier for me because I did it on the computer, when you look at your movie put your mouse over it and in the corner there will be an x. It won't delete the movie forever, only hide it. If you want to unhide your movie go into your account and in there you will see hidden movies or music, you can unhide them there if you need to.
