I just want to say that despite Dancer in the Dark being shot in SD Digital Video -giving it an earthy grainy aspect that feels poetically impoverished as symbolism with the direction of the movie, the driving purpose of blu ray, for me, is the master audio channels. Bjork will be honored as one of the ground breaking music artists of the era. Love her or not, she has been at the top of artistic expression for decades and to me has no peer in the female singer/composer realm. The industrial score of this awe-inspiring film penetrates more fully in blu ray - or will - I don't have the disc yet and I am looking forward to it being available in the U.S. I have the DVD. Mesmerizing - and the HD Audio, when I can finally experience it, will immerse me in the blue, raw, and gut-wrenching creative music. This movie is a masterpiece, albeit the star and work misunderstood. That's how it goes with genius.
