Cool. I enjoyed the first one. Even if the zombies were a touch too slow. Week definitely pick this up.

Saw this at Best Buy but there wasn't a price. I was shocked to see that it came with a slipcover. This is the very first time that I can remember of Anchor Bay releasing a Blu-ray with a slipcover.

I enjoyed the first one, but The Dead 2 has been receiving mixed reviews and from what I've read it's basically the same plot as the original movie. I'll rent it first.

If you liked the first one you may want to check out the sequel, but it's nowhere near as good. Characters constantly do unbelievably stupid thing to get themselves into danger and whenever the story cuts to the hero's fiancée and her family this descends into inadvertently funny Bollywood soap operatics with some terrible acting. While in the first film the hero got a local soldier to help him and the growing respect between the two men formed the backbone of the film, here he gets a cute kid as a sidekick. I got the feeling that to be able to shoot in India they had to make certain compromises to make the film more commercial and possibly more appealing to a local audience. The film still looks beautiful like the first one and there are a few decent set pieces, but on the whole it's disappointing after the excellent first film.
