I always redeem on Vudu unless it is a title that can only be redeemed on another site/service.

Many reasons overall, but among them, are:

1) Reliability. I have had the Flixster site glitch on me a few times while in the middle of redeeming codes, and it messed up the redemption and I had to contact customer service. That was a pain.

2) I use Vudu as my main player for my UV Collection, and I have had good luck with their service overall. All of my titles always show up, and in Flixster that is not always the case.

3) I have never tried this to be certain, but from what I understand, if for some reason I ever had to disconnect my UV library from Vudu, any code that I redeemed on Vudu itself would still be available in My Vudu library even if it is no longer synced to the UV Library.

4) I like their user interface much more than Flixster.

Is there a way to transfer things from Flix to Vudu?

Of course, that's the whole point of UV. All of your flixster movies will transfer to vudu, if they are available on vudu, which most likely they are. Just sign up for vudu, and make sure you check I already have a UV account, and then link it to your uv e-mail address.

What echopulse said is exactly correct. If you have your Flixster/UV/Vudu/Sony, etc. accounts all linked then every one of the films in your UV library will be available on any of those services.

One other thing though is, if you purchased movies on Flixster which are not UV compatible, those will not transfer to Vudu. Only UV enabled movies transfer amongst linked accounts.

Does Sony has a movie service that can offer UV redemption too?

Yes. In the past, some titles have only been available via the Studio's redemption site, such as Sony's redemption site:

https://ultraviolet.sonypictures.com/US/redeem

More and more these titles are available to redeem on Vudu, but originally some UV titles were only available to redeem on Studio redemption pages such as the Sony one, which can also be linked to your UV account. Obviously, it isn't necessary to link these accounts to your UV account if you do not need to redeem on them any longer due to such services as Vudu and/or Flixster.

Ok but I you misunderstood me. My question was if Sony has a site like Flixter or Vudu for video. I dont know about one (and im a HUGE Sony fan) and apparently there isn't one haha. Your message got me thinking that maybe there's a Sony site that I dont know of haha.

I think you perhaps misunderstood me.

There are some services which offer UV redemption only (such as the Sony redemption site for Sony films) which can be linked to your main UV account, and then there are services which offer not only redemption but also are "content players", such as services like Vudu and/or Flixster, which can link to your UV account to play films from your UV library, but also allow you to redeem digital codes from.

Make sense?

You can only play the Sony movies in your account on that site though.
