They're clearly also making their case to show Warner their commitment to the format (on top of swaying anyone else not under contract with HDDVD). That's some good stuff.

I love both of those ad's, the coaster one is especaily funny.

I think that was a pirated disc in the drive too.

Are you sure about that? It may be they are trying to look like fan produced commercials. Any way they possibly can get the word out, they will. They are both pretty good commercials.

Those are funny vids, but is it helping Blu-ray?

Looks like petty squabbling that is just going to fan the fire of the HD-DVD flamers.

They have a ton of views on Youtube

And yes, I'd saythey help. WE've been calling for them to fight back, this is part of fighting back.

Honestly in my experience when you have an opponent who has proven time and again they will kick you in the nuts and keep kicking you, you have to strap on the golf spikes and kick back. The dudders have blown a huge amount of their marketing budget on bribes this year, they're hurting so it's the time to strike
